Mateusz Browarczyk is todays caretaker of the family apiary Miodolandia - and he loves his work producing honey with passion and care for the traditional style of living at the same time as he and Mirella always looks in the future for innovations and development of their skills.

In the heart of the Żuławy region, surrounded by fields of rapeseed, broad bean, hawthorn, and blackthorn, lies a small but mighty treasure: Miodolandia. More than just a honey producer, Miodolandia is a living tribute to the legacy of traditional Polish beekeeping, now proudly Certified by the Culinary Heritage network.

Three Generations of Sweet Craft

Run by the Browarczyk family, this multi-generational apiary carries on a beekeeping tradition that spans decades. Nowadays owners Mateusz and Mirella continues the traditions and innovates at the same time with new services and product developments.

From nectar foraging to honey extraction and packaging, every step happens on-site in Żuławy. The bees roam freely within a 30 km radius, drawing on the unique floral landscape of the Pomorskie region - resulting in honeys that truly express Żuławy’s terroir.

And it’s not just honey: Miodolandia’s portfolio includes pollen, bee bread, wax, gift sets, and more - crafted with care using manual techniques and heritage tools, all while meeting top hygienic standards.

Sustainability & Transparency at the Core

Bees are not artificially fed, but overwinter on their own honey. Renewable energy powers operations, and even the logo design - shaped like a honeycomb cell - reflects environmental commitment. Every jar is traceable, batch-marked, and additive-free.

A Hub for Education & Local Collaboration

Miodolandia is also an enthusiastic partner in education, running workshops, collaborating with schools, and participating in scientific research. Their products are featured by local chefs and restaurants, anchoring them in the region’s culinary and cultural identity.

More Than a Producer - A Destination in the Making

While the apiary already does remarkable work, its future shines even brighter. With potential for guided tastings, honey-themed seasonal events, or “Beekeeper for a Morning” experiences, Miodolandia is well positioned to evolve into a tourism destination for visitors seeking authentic food experiences in Poland.

Digital storytelling, multilingual web content, and immersive QR-code-based labels will further open the door to international visitors and deepen their connection to Żuławy’s landscape and history.

Certified, Celebrated, and Still Growing

Already recognised with multiple awards and now proudly bearing the Culinary Heritage certification, Miodolandia continues to shine as one of Poland’s most inspiring examples of sustainable, traditional food production. It’s not just about what’s in the jar - it’s about the story, the landscape, and the people behind every drop of honey.
