Practical Information

The Culinary Heritage Annual Meeting program is mainly organised in the way so the participants can meet, talk and discuss without long sessions of just being a passive participant. Culinary Heritage Pfalz also at the same time wants to show up their region for the guests in an efficient way with a nice study visit program - exactly as a ”normal” tourist also would explore the area in a sustainable and environmental friendly way by using public transportation and easy walks.

In conjunction with the meeting the famous Christmas Market "Der Weihnachtsmarkt der Kunigunde" is held so it gives you as participant a wonderful opportunity to feel the atmosphere of the upcoming Christmas! 

Informal dress code is recommended - bring your good mood and comfortable clothes!

We recommend to book Your hotel stay in good time as the Christmas Market is a very well visited event. 

Neustadt main train station and parking ground are are located next to the official meeting venue - the Saalbau building. Parking ground: Bahnhofstraße 4, 67434 Neustadt an der Weinstraße

The Annual Meeting conference participants are invited to:

Conference drinks, 2x lunch, 2x dinner, sparkling wine tasting, guided visit (English) of the Hambacher Schloss, Culinary City Tour and all mentioned public transports.   

As specified in the Regulations Culinary Heritage we are offering the Annual Meeting conference package for 2 participants per License Holder free of charge. If there are more participants from a region a symbolic fee of 125 € excl. VAT will be paid to the organiser Tourist, Kongreß und Saalbau GmbH for covering the extra participants costs.

Travel recommendations 

There are several international airports in the surrounding of Neustadt. Frankfurt Am Main, Frankfurt Hahn, Stuttgart, Cologne-Bonn and Strasbourg just to mention some of them with good connection to the venue area.

Feel very welcome to Pfalz and Neustadt an der Weinstraße - and do plan some extra day for the Christmas shopping during the weekend if You have the possibility for that!
