TAVERN At the time when Split and whole of Dalmatia were under French rule (1806-1813) general Marmont by a special Decree proclaimed which taverns and inns would continue to work. Among those allowed to work we find our ancestors: Katarina Viđak and her inn and Lovre Viđak - Dujala and his tavern (established in 1799.)
