"Owocowy Raj nad Zalewem" exists since 2009. Located in the town Modła Kolonia (8km from Konin) close to Powie River. It is owned by Elżbieta Nowak, daughter of Małgorzata and Andrzej Pomocka, who along with her husband Maciej continues the family tradition. 8 acre farm consists of cherry, sweet cherry, apple and pear trees. The idea for the agriculture tourism was Elżbieta's idea from a long time ago, but it was the year of 2009 that has brought great changes. Initially guests had an access to a wooden house which has survived in perfect condition the Second World War. "Owocowy Raj nad Zalewem" became very popular due to such qualities as interior filled with soul and old furniture, interesting history and above all great hosts. At the end of the 2011 farm won first place in a competition for the best tourism object in rural areas. In 2012, the owners modernized accommodation facilities and moved to another building.The building is now equipped for 13 people in 5 rooms with 3 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Thanks to grants from the European Union further investments were made: grill hut, roof over the terrace, garden barbecue, Internet connection, garden chess board, tennis table, TV set, hammock, sunbeds garden furniture and blankets. The farm is surrounded by orchards so fruits growing in the area can be found in cakes, desserts and meals served to the guests. Here you can taste natural fruit juice, a homemade bread, doghnuts filled with hand - made jam, traditional yeast cake, dumplings, pickled cucumber and tomato all made according to local traditions.
