Bakery ‘EKKO’ continues the tradition, began in 1992, of the bakery ‘Maluchnik’, which since 2010 has been a member of the ‘Culinary Heritage Warmia Mazury Powiśle’. The bakery owner Mr. Marek Maluchnik passed it to his son, Wojciech. Currently it operates under the name ‘EKKO’ and produces traditional bread, sweet and semi-sweet. Bread is prepared solely by the traditional methods of high quality raw materials from the region of Warmia and Mazury. It assures variety of bakery products: with various toppings, such as sunflower seeds, pumpkin, flax, sesame seeds, soybeans and linseed. For several generations, the methods of production remain unchanged. The main supplier of flour to the bakery is mill ‘Młynomag’, which is a member of the ‘Culinary Heritage Warmia Mazury Powiśle’.
