Mønstergård Thor Kure is all smiles as he walks among his herd of 100 cattle grazing in the scenic natural landscape at Bastemose bog, where spiraea, wild flowers and other plants do their share to give the already juicy and lean meat from his Limousine cattle its uniquely delicious taste. In Thor’s opinion, organic principles are the only way forward. And everything at Mønstergård Farm – from cultivating the fields to breeding the cattle – is done in intense interaction with nature. And that is the way it has been ever since 1998, when Thor took over the farm where he was born.
