Ewa and Peter Stratenwerth`s Bio-bakery "W Grzybowskiej Arce" is the first organic bakery in Poland. The bread baked there is called HRUBY, which means in old Polish - wholemeal. The bread is 100% organic; all grain used there and bakery itself have organic certificates. Grain is ground in a stone quern, to rye bread traditional sourdough is added, to wheat bread - yeast. No artificial, chemical additives are used. The dough grows in wooden kneading trows and bread i s baked in a traditional oven, heated with wood. Officially bakery was registered in 1999.
